Instructions for setting up Outlook Express 5.0 & 6.0 email accounts.



1. Connect to mybeechgrove.com.
2. Open Outlook Express.




3. From the Tools menu, choose Accounts. Note: If you have never configured, or used, your Outlook Express email program, the Internet Connection Wizard will open automatically - go to step 5.




4. Click the Add button and choose Mail.




5. In the Display name field, type your full name, click the Next > button.




6. In the E-mail address field, type your full mybeechgrove.com email address (e.g., jdoe@mybeechgrove.com), click the Next > button.




7. Click the down arrow on the My incoming mail is a ____ server drop-down list and choose POP3. In the Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server field, type mail.mybeechgrove.com. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server field, type mail.mybeechgrove.com, then click the Next > button.




8. In the Account name field, if your username is jdoe then type your username (e.g., jdoe@mybeechgrove.com). In the Password field, type your email password. Check the box next to Remember password if you wish to save your password then click the Next > button, click the Finish button.




9. Click on Tools then click on Accounts.




10. Click on the Mail tab, click on the account listed in the box under Account, click on Properties on right.




11. Click on the Servers, click on My Server requires authentication then click on Settingsto the right.




12. If Log on using is not selected, click on it, then enter in your username (e.g., jdoe@mybeechgrove.com) in the Account name and then password.




13. Click on Ok, click on ok again then click on Close to exit.
